Terms & Conditions
These terms set out the basis on which Gearhaus provides watch repair services and makes this website available. Please read them before submitting a contact form or bringing a watch to the workshop.

1. About Gearhaus
Gearhaus operates a watch repair workshop at 184 Sathorn Tai Road, Thung Maha Mek, Bangkok 10120, Thailand. These terms govern both the use of this website and the repair services offered by the workshop. By using this website or asking us to carry out work on a watch, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
Gearhaus offers three workshop services: a Cleaning & Lubrication Tune-Up, a Water-Resistance Reseal & Pressure Check, and a Heirloom Rebuild & Documentation. The scope, price, and indicative turnaround for each are described on the Solutions page of this website.
A confirmed scope and price will be agreed with you in writing before any work begins. No chargeable work is undertaken without your prior approval. If the condition of a watch changes once opened — which occasionally happens with older pieces — we will contact you before proceeding.
Turnaround times are estimates and not contractual commitments. We will keep you informed if a job looks likely to run longer than the stated range, and we appreciate your patience in those cases.
3. Prices and Payment
Prices shown on this website are in Thai Baht (฿) and are indicative starting points. The final price for your job will be confirmed in a written quotation before work begins. Prices on the website may be updated from time to time, but the price agreed in your quotation will always apply to your job.
Payment is due on collection of the watch unless separate arrangements have been agreed in writing. We do not process payments through this website.
4. Leaving a Watch with Us
When you leave a watch at the workshop, we will issue a receipt describing the item and the agreed scope of work. Please keep this receipt, as it will be requested when the watch is collected.
We take reasonable care of every watch in our possession and store watches securely during the repair period. We hold a general liability for loss or damage caused by our own negligence, but we cannot accept liability for pre-existing conditions that were not disclosed at intake.
If a watch is not collected within sixty days of the completion notice being sent, we will attempt to contact you again. Watches left uncollected for more than one hundred and twenty days after completion notice may be disposed of after further written notice, to recover storage costs.
5. Accuracy of Watch Descriptions
We ask that you describe your watch accurately at intake — including any known history, damage, or prior repairs. Providing accurate information helps us give you an honest quotation and carry out the right scope of work. We are not responsible for outcomes that arise from information that was incomplete or incorrect at intake.
6. Use of This Website
This website is intended solely to provide information about Gearhaus and to allow visitors to send enquiries. You may not use the website for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful code, or in any way that could damage or impair access to the site for others.
The content on this website — including text, images, and design — is owned by or licensed to Gearhaus. You may not reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
7. Links to Other Websites
Where this website links to third-party sites — for example, Google Maps — those sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the content of any third-party website.
8. Limitation of Liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be free from errors or accessible at all times. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information found on this website.
Our liability in connection with workshop services is limited to the value of the repair work agreed in the written quotation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for matters that cannot be lawfully excluded under Thai law.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any matter arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The date shown at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website or workshop services following any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
